The Prototype

The Model

Witney is an 8ftx2ft layout based on my home town of Witney in West Oxfordshire. Construction is a plywood frame which will be infilled with high density stryrofoam when the tackwork and electrics are complete. At present most of the trackwork is complete and the headache of the electrics has begun (if there are any electric wizards out there then please get in touch!). Witney is teminus on the end of a branch line, the date is undecided at the moment, either 1900ish or as late as the 1960's. Either way the whole location has been moved up North so I can model Midland engines as they are my passion (see pictures)
